5H and 5P made slime - a non-Newtonian substance (which all of Year 5 should now understand)!

We played at Highfields on a blustery Thursday afternoon against some schools which are well established in playing Tag Rugby. We put in a very solid performance and the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

5H have been studying the Romans. As the climax of their work, they put on a presentation in the hall for the rest of Year 5 and 6. Video of that event should be coming soon but while you wait, have a look at some photos of cooking on a fire like the Romans, planting herbs and making bread. Rome wasn't built in a day, but 5H managed to do quite a lot in an afternoon!
