All the children in school took part in Safer Internet Day today. Here is a selection of the work we did.

Talking to your child and setting rules together about using the internet has shown to be one of the best things you can do as a parent to help keep your children safe online. You could discuss what they have done in school.

Year 5 e-Safety Rap

If it looks too good to be true, then it is,
It’s a SCAM, SCAM, SCAM SCAM SCAM!

So I got this email,
It said ‘are you female?’
And it said I had to send back all of my details
I was just about to give out all of my information
When I stopped… a little hesitation
It’s a fake, it’s a scam
My brain’s not made of jam
Some people might not see it but believe that I can!

When I saw I’d won the jackpot I screamed and I shouted
My mum went ‘hmmm’ I could see that she doubted
I typed in my password then I stopped and I pouted
I’m not having my info getting outed!
Privacy is needed
But everybody sees it
Once your information’s on the internet you can’t retrieve it
If something looks weird then you probly can’t believe it
It’s a scam my man so let me just repeat it!

If you play on your computer or your PS4
Make sure you remember the internet law
Don’t get scammed by the online pirateses
Your PC could get nasty dirty viruses !
