 After having one inspirational visitor on Wednesday, we had a second one on Thursday: Offrande Zanzala, who left our school in 2008. Over the intervening time, Offrande has been working incredibly hard to make his way through the ranks at Derby County FC and this season, he is hoping to break into the first team. We will all be supporting him and be cheering him on when he makes his debut. He is currently coming back from a major injury which he suffered almost a year ago.
We are incredibly proud of his success and a lot of the children in school now have a new footballing hero!
