September in Los Tigres
In Los Tigres, we have a lucky tiger called Lightning. He goes on trips with people who are brilliant and hard working. If you take Lightning home, you need to write a special diary and you need pictures to make it more exciting.
In English, we have been learning about the origins of tapas. Tapas is a special, famous food that they have in Spain. We wrote the whole story of how tapas was created and described the characters’ feelings. In Science, we have been learning about the sweet chestnuts growing in our school.

This year we have learnt a lot about Spanish. We have learnt how to say hello, good day, bye, and how are you? After that we went out to collect sweet chestnuts on the playground.
This year we have learnt about tapas and we wrote the story of tapas. As well as that, we ate Spanish food. When we ate olives Javon, my class mate, ate them. He looked like he was nearly sick and pulled a funny face.
