The Year 6 cricket teams headed over to Carrington Cricket Club to take part in one of the two city finals with a place in the county finals at stake. Click here to find out how they did in the competition (the photograph in the slideshow at the top may give one of the results away!). Photos to be posted as soon as we receive them back - so far, we have news that everyone is having a good time and getting lots of sleep (except Mr Gardner)!
Watch for our flag (thanks Mr G!) - skip to 2.29 for a fast forward to us! Just for the Welsh boys in Year 5, here's a special picture. This afternoon, the Year 5 and 6 Rugby team played in a competition at Highfields against schools which had more than one team. We did incredibly well, winning one match and drawing another. Head over to the Year 5 blog for more pictures. They are back and heading home for a rest! Hope you all had an 'awesome' week and we're sure that the stories will not stop on Monday. We can't wait to hear all about it guys! Click here to hop over to the final sets of photos! A fantastic match (ahem!). It may not have been top notch entertainment but what an experience! Read the match report here. Year 6 visited Newstead Abbey to discover an amazing place and to build up their setting for an adventure story. More photos to follow on the Year 6 Blog page! Year 3 visited Cadbury World in Birmingham to learn more about the history of chocolate and how it fits into their history work. Go to the Year 3 Blog for more photos and information.
We have been invited back to the Panthers again after our amazing behaviour and attitude last time! Go Panthers! Read the match report here!
