Year 1 had a wonderful day at Magna in Sheffield. We learnt lots about Science and had lots of fun on the activities and play areas! Both games ended 1-1! Amazing performances from both the girls' and boys' teams. Goal scorers:

Here is one of our songs recorded during the performance - sorry about the coughing! This left us very emotional (the singing, not the coughing) and even the most hardy of teachers had tears in the eyes! More photos and music soon! After performing our 4 songs, we watched the other primary schools and three secondary schools. Then the Hot Butter Soul Collective (this is what we are all dancing to!)
The Year 6 boys spent the morning at the cricket club, coming very close in each match but ultimately, just being pipped to the post by the opposition. In the afternoon, it was the girls' competition. After a narrow defeat in the first match, the girls won the second two games. Well done girls! Everyone has arrived safely and are having a fantastic time. They are out trying out new things and behaving amazingly well! Click here for more photos! On Tuesday, a group of 37 Scotholme students competed in a singing competition at Mellish Sports Centre to compete against other schools in our area. They performed magnificently. You can listen to them here!
You can also hear 4G's recording skills too! The girls' football team and other winners of the Champions League flag competition went to Stamford Bridge to watch the final between Olympique Lyonnais (who were undefeated in 118 games!) and VfL Wolfsburg from Germany.
