After many months of waiting, the Year 5 and 6s who are going to Colomendy can pack their bags and prepare for a week of adrenaline filled adventures. We will hopefully add information throughout the week but the internet connection is not great at the centre. Look here for the last trip and the photos from then (this links to our old website which is no longer maintained).
A fantastic match (ahem!). It may not have been top notch entertainment but what an experience! Read the match report here. The football team achieved their first victory of 2014 last night - beating Mellers 2 - 1 with Jahrel scoring both goals. In the first match against Mellers, the final score was 1-1.
Year 6 visited Newstead Abbey to discover an amazing place and to build up their setting for an adventure story. More photos to follow on the Year 6 Blog page! Sport Relief is on its way again. Very soon, we will be taking part in running events, selling wristbands, making things to sell and generally having a great time whilst raising money for people who are less fortunate than us. While you wait, take a look at these Sport Relief games you can play! We have been invited back to the Panthers again after our amazing behaviour and attitude last time! Go Panthers! Read the match report here!
We are embarking on a series of professional sports events at Scotholme, with the children having the chance to experience sports throughout Nottingham and beyond! Owing to the amazing behaviour and enthusiasm of the children on the Panthers trip, we have been invited back again! Read the match report here! Year 5/6 will recommence competition in their series of house competitions - tomorrow's contest involves flying Santa as far as possible in a special sleigh designed by the 5 House Teams! Good luck and happy landings! The house paper chain competition is back for its second year! Can the Red team win again and extend their current lead or will the Green team begin catching them up? Stay posted for news later this afternoon! The Green team were the victors with a chain of over 50m! Last year's winners, the Red team, were in second place. Year 6 visited Twycross Zoo to find out more about conservation and sustainability. We saw some amazing animals and found out all about the reasons for them being in danger. |
