After a very busy Spring term, we spent the last week or so reviewing what we have learnt and what we have done, making the most of all of the memories! We hope you enjoy them! We can't wait to share our summer work with you, hopefully lots of it in person as well as through our YouTube channel!
To help raise money for our outdoor Foundation area we had a 'Break The Rules Day' on April Fools' Day. The children donated a small amount to break 4 rules. In the end, we raised over £1000. Thank you to all of the parents who supported us just a couple of weeks after our amazing fundraising effort for Comic Relief.
What a day! Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to raise over £1600. What an amazing effort!
Each year group have produced a review of part of their learning during the Autumn term. They are all now published on our YouTube channel:
Year 4 have been studying the poem 'Something Told The Goose' by Rachel Field. They have then performed their own poems.
We raised £1212.91 - thank you!
For the last 3 weeks, Year 6 have been studying The Sentry by Wilfred Owen. We have written our own poetry inspired by his work. Please be aware that the poems may not be suitable for younger children.
We had a very special visit from an ex-pupil today. Offrande Zanzala is currently playing for Barrow Athletic in League 2. He has had an amazing start to the season, scoring 3 goals already. One of Offrande's goals is below!
