Our year 5 children worked in groups to create beautiful booklets on one of the major rivers around the world (Nile, Amazon, Yangtze and Mississippi).

The children learnt about the location and climate of each of the rivers, the animals and plants found near the river, how the rivers were used in the past and how people depended on the rivers. In groups, the children picked one of the major rivers and created an "Explorer's Guide"!
