Our wonderful year 5s had the privilege of putting together an assembly about Eid!

Those of us that celebrated Eid on Friday the 20th of March came in their best Eid clothes. They shared why Eid is celebrated, the kinds of gifts that are exchanged, how they pray and why they fast.

The children thoroughly enjoyed either sharing their own culture and religion, or loved learning about their peers' culture!
