Just after our work on Nelson Mandela had finished, the world received the sad news that he had died. Here is some of the work 6C did about the man who stood up for what he believed in. Year 6 have worked with Tamba Roy to think about how we can achieve success in school. We created clay models of our successes. We have been studying artefacts from 600 years ago. We have also toured the castle to investigate its defences. 6H and 6C spent two days working together to develop their teamwork skills in the forest in Bestwood Country Park. We had to lead each other through the woods without our sense of sight! We cooked over a fire! Perfect in the rain which was pouring down! The rain poured down on 6H! Could the teams get the ruby from the container? See the video below. |
