Rainbow spent a week travelling through Peru, trekking nearly 50km ranging from 12,500 to 14,500ft above sea-level to raise money for The Phoenix Projects. Oh and Mr Newton went too.
Congratulations to Sara who qualified for the Junior Memory Championship at London Zoo on Sunday. 25,000 children entered the competition and Sara was in the final 20! What an amazing effort.
We visited the zoo and met lots of fantastic animals and then Sara had to compete against the other 18 finalists. Congratulations to Rose as well - she also reached the final but unfortunately couldn't attend. We are incredibly proud of both of you! You can read our latest newsletter here. Earlier this term, the children voted to have a panther as our new mascot. Over several weeks, children and staff have worked together to create the panther. However, we need your help to choose the colour! If you login to our ClassDojo page, you can vote until 8pm on Thursday for your choice. If you haven't joined ClassDojo, ask your child's class teacher when we return to school on the 25th February for your joining code.
After many weeks of work, Scotholme's first art installation is complete. Thanks to Paul Matosic for the amazing effort that he has put in and the fantastic effort by every child in school. The exhibition will be demonstrated in Angel's Row Library. We will post the date as soon as we receive it!
