Just for the Welsh boys in Year 5, here's a special picture. This afternoon, the Year 5 and 6 Rugby team played in a competition at Highfields against schools which had more than one team. We did incredibly well, winning one match and drawing another. Head over to the Year 5 blog for more pictures. They are back and heading home for a rest! Hope you all had an 'awesome' week and we're sure that the stories will not stop on Monday. We can't wait to hear all about it guys! Click here to hop over to the final sets of photos! A fantastic match (ahem!). It may not have been top notch entertainment but what an experience! Read the match report here. The football team achieved their first victory of 2014 last night - beating Mellers 2 - 1 with Jahrel scoring both goals. In the first match against Mellers, the final score was 1-1.
Sport Relief is on its way again. Very soon, we will be taking part in running events, selling wristbands, making things to sell and generally having a great time whilst raising money for people who are less fortunate than us. While you wait, take a look at these Sport Relief games you can play! We have been invited back to the Panthers again after our amazing behaviour and attitude last time! Go Panthers! Read the match report here!
We are embarking on a series of professional sports events at Scotholme, with the children having the chance to experience sports throughout Nottingham and beyond! Owing to the amazing behaviour and enthusiasm of the children on the Panthers trip, we have been invited back again! Read the match report here! The Gold medal winning Paralympian who has taught sports at Scotholme several times is currently running 40 marathons (26 miles each) in 40 days. Support him by going to:
http://www.richardwhiteheadrunsbritain.com/ On the last Wednesday of their Scotholme careers, the Year 6s (and Mr Hall) took on the teachers in a basketball match. After their last minute victory last year, the teachers were brimming with confidence - however, the timekeeper was a computer this time! After an amazing match the scores ended up as 14 all. Another drawn match: the boys' football team; the girls' football team and now the Year 6 basketball team! Both games ended 1-1! Amazing performances from both the girls' and boys' teams.
