Inspired by a TV programme about a children’s hospital, Katie from Los Buhos decided to make a collection of selection boxes and sweets to send to QMC for children who have to spend Christmas in hospital. Katie collected 166 items, easily beating her target of 150. Katie and Caitlin (Los Murcielagos) delivered the items to QMC on Wednesday. Claire Hardy from Nottingham Children’s Hospital said: Thank you so much for the visit yesterday and for the amazing amount of goodies that the girls collected in. I bet the school and their families are very proud of them. Thank you to everyone who donated to Katie’s appeal and a huge thank you to Katie for her brilliant idea. It's that time of year again, when we recycle our scrap paper into artistic chains! Can anyone beat the current record chain length? 50.5 metres, made by the Green team 4 years ago! |
