Year 6 went to Holme Pierrepoint on Thursday. Information is on the Year 6 blog page and also the Safety page. We had a great morning, working with lots of different organisations, finding out how to stay safe in a variety of situations. Thank you to all the helpers and the students who guided us around.
Dear Parents and Carers, Academy Conversion - A Consultation with Stakeholders We at Scotholme Primary School have begun the process of consulting about academy conversion. We hope that you will be able to contribute to the consultation process. Details about what becoming an academy may mean for our school are available below, along with a list of questions and answers which have been discussed in other consultations. Paper copies are available from the school office. It is important to be clear that should our school convert to an academy, then it will retain its own independence, identity and local governing body. The proposal is that we will join the Shine Multi Academy Trust, together with Whitemoor Academy. At this school, we are proud of our close links and good working relationships with our parents and carers and the links between other local schools. It is our intention that this way of working will also be retained. Once again, thank you for your continued commitment and relationship with our school. We hope you feel able to comment on our proposals for moving forward.
After a lovely British summer, we are all back at school, ready for a new and exciting year. There are lots of things coming up this year so keep coming back to see all the amazing things we are doing.
To all of Year 6 children from last year, good luck at your new schools - we can't wait to see you all again |
