On the last Wednesday of their Scotholme careers, the Year 6s (and Mr Hall) took on the teachers in a basketball match. After their last minute victory last year, the teachers were brimming with confidence - however, the timekeeper was a computer this time! After an amazing match the scores ended up as 14 all. Another drawn match: the boys' football team; the girls' football team and now the Year 6 basketball team! Year 1 had a wonderful day at Magna in Sheffield. We learnt lots about Science and had lots of fun on the activities and play areas! Key Stage 2 have been competing in their house groups to win the Sports Day event. Final results: 1) Yellow 2) Purple 3) Blue 4) Red 5) Green Both games ended 1-1! Amazing performances from both the girls' and boys' teams. Goal scorers:
Boys 1 (Faizan) Staff 1(Hale) Girls 1 (Passion) Staff 1 (Hale) Click here for the match report and more pictures! |
