The Year 6 boys spent the morning at the cricket club, coming very close in each match but ultimately, just being pipped to the post by the opposition. In the afternoon, it was the girls' competition. After a narrow defeat in the first match, the girls won the second two games. Well done girls! Here are more photos from the Edale Residential from last week and a couple of videos of the staff looking a little bit foolish! Unfortunately the Girls' Cricket team were narrowly beaten by Awsworth Primary School. The girls were just 12 runs short of progressing through to the 4th Round of the competition. They have another chance to be successful on Friday at Carrington Cricket Ground. The boys are also competing on Friday afternoon.
Everyone has arrived safely and are having a fantastic time. They are out trying out new things and behaving amazingly well! Click here for more photos! On Tuesday, a group of 37 Scotholme students competed in a singing competition at Mellish Sports Centre to compete against other schools in our area. They performed magnificently. You can listen to them here!
You can also hear 4G's recording skills too! |
