...the teddy bears had their picnic! Although we didn't manage to shift the entire dinner service outside onto the playground, we still had a magnificent lunchtime and our teddies loved it. See the slideshow below for more photos! Over the last two days, Skippy John has been teaching the whole school how to skip professionally: remember to turn the rope, not throw it and to bounce not jump! Tomorrow is one of the most eagerly awaited days of the year for the Year 6 children: the sneak preview of their James Bond film! There will be a parents' screening later in the year and a showing in school for the rest of Key Stage 2. Over the last few days, the children have been designing film posters to persuade people to watch their film; filmed a documentary about the character of Bond and their film; written persuasive letters to the film's director putting their artwork forward for inclusion on the DVD release and finally started to look at how graphic novels are made from the book counterparts! Phew, what an exhausting week straight after SATs! Some Year 6 children have been pondering about the largest creatures to ever walk the Earth. Well here it is! This has happened just a few weeks after a new Tyrannosaur was found: the 'Pinocchio' dinosaur. There are related videos on the BBC website about dinosaurs here. In a few weeks, we will be sleeping with Dinosaurs at The Natural History Museum at Dinosnores! Year 6s can practise for their SATs tests by following this link.
