Thank you to everyone who took part in Sport Relief - we have raised a staggering £1300 this year. What an amazing effort! Congratulations to Las Tortugas who won the step competition in KS2 and Los Pinguinos in KS1. It was a close run thing but well done to the winners and commiserations to all the other classes who put so much effort in. This will be our 5th Earth Hour this year.
Why don't you join in? On Saturday night, turn off your lights at 8.30pm to show that you support our world. The WWF website has more details. Over the next term, we will be working with the children to do as much as possible to protect our world's future. Each child will make one small promise to make a small difference. Add them all up and we'll make a BIG difference! Why don't you make a small promise too? Thank you to all of the parents who have bought books during the Book Fair. Because of the sales, we have received nearly £300 worth of books for school.
School is open today (Friday 2nd March). Nursery will still not be open owing to on-going boiler issues. Main school is open today. Nursery is closed because of a lack of heating. All after school clubs will be cancelled today. |
