Everything is going well so far. Lots of teachers now have strange colours on their heads - what amazing volunteers! At the end of the day, after all the different tubs of money have been counted, we have raised over £1750 so far. There is still money to come in - can we beat our record from two years ago of £1815? Thank you to everyone who has put so much hard work in to make today such a success. To all the staff who weren't afraid to be laughed at; the children who gave up their lunch-times to run activities; the school council and Mrs Atkins for coming up with ideas and organising events and especially to Mrs Turner who orchestrated the whole day so well. Finally, thanks most of all to you, the parents and carers, who continually send money to support our fundraising activities. You are amazing and we are lucky to have such supportive and generous parents and carers.
We had an amazing afternoon with visitors from John Lewis, Whitemoor (fellow members of the Shine MAT) and a huge number of parents. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a special afternoon. So far, with money still coming in, we have raised over £150 for Water Aid.
Photos will be coming soon. What an amazing visit from Zoolab. There are more photos on the Year 1 page.
