The football team drew one match and lost the other against Bentinck this afternoon. The boys played well and Ben scored an amazing goal - details to follow from chief reporter: Mrs Greaves. Post match comment from Mr Price too! Sport Relief will hit Scotholme tomorrow with the usual bang! There will be many events for the children to take part in including: penalty shoot outs, skipping races and press-ups. There are still wristbands for sale and there will be a fresh batch of biscuits ready for tomorrow! Read Anayla's leaflet about why she thinks we should all donate to Sport Relief. A fantastic match (ahem!). It may not have been top notch entertainment but what an experience! Read the match report here. The football team achieved their first victory of 2014 last night - beating Mellers 2 - 1 with Jahrel scoring both goals. In the first match against Mellers, the final score was 1-1.
Both games ended 1-1! Amazing performances from both the girls' and boys' teams. Goal scorers:

The girls' football team and other winners of the Champions League flag competition went to Stamford Bridge to watch the final between Olympique Lyonnais (who were undefeated in 118 games!) and VfL Wolfsburg from Germany.
After remaining undefeated for a seventh league match, the football team will get a new home on the 'Success' page of the website. See there for future news (there will be links from the home page blog for each match).
