The Year 6 cricket teams headed over to Carrington Cricket Club to take part in one of the two city finals with a place in the county finals at stake. Click here to find out how they did in the competition (the photograph in the slideshow at the top may give one of the results away!). Our spirited cricketers went to play in the indoor centre at Trent Bridge this evening. Head over to the Year 6 blog for photos and reaction! Sport Relief will hit Scotholme tomorrow with the usual bang! There will be many events for the children to take part in including: penalty shoot outs, skipping races and press-ups. There are still wristbands for sale and there will be a fresh batch of biscuits ready for tomorrow! Read Anayla's leaflet about why she thinks we should all donate to Sport Relief. The Year 6 boys spent the morning at the cricket club, coming very close in each match but ultimately, just being pipped to the post by the opposition. In the afternoon, it was the girls' competition. After a narrow defeat in the first match, the girls won the second two games. Well done girls! Unfortunately the Girls' Cricket team were narrowly beaten by Awsworth Primary School. The girls were just 12 runs short of progressing through to the 4th Round of the competition. They have another chance to be successful on Friday at Carrington Cricket Ground. The boys are also competing on Friday afternoon.
